Sara Jacobs is originally from Springfield, Illinois and currently lives in Chicago. She graduated from American University’s Honor’s College in Washington, D.C. with a B.A. in Spanish/Latin American Studies in 2012. Her OHMA thesis focuses on a group of activists in her hometown who are working to address racial and economic disparities in the city.
