Taylor Thompson (she/hers) is an oral historian, writer, and researcher whose work focuses on black feminist economic history and critical inquiry. Taylor is a recent graduate of OHMA, where her thesis, "Tell Me About That World": Speculative Archive Mixtape Towards a Black Feminist Listening Practice won the 2021 Jeffrey H. Brodsky Oral History award. Tell Me About That World is a digital archive and exhibit featuring the narratives of mutual-aid and community care practitioners in New York City as they describe the types of worlds and futures they work to produce through their organizing. Taylor Thompson holds a BA, with honors, from Barnard College of Columbia University (Class of 2020) where she majored in Economics and Social History and minored in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
