About the Narrator:
Barry Scott has been telling stories both on-stage and behind the scenes for over 50 years. He is a Nashville-based writer, actor, producer, director, motivational speaker, voice over artist, and the founder and producing artistic director of the American Negro Playwright Theatre. An authority on the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Scott wrote and starred in Ain’t Got Long to Stay Here, a tribute Dr. King. He continues to perform the show thirty years later, to teach a new generation of students about one of America’s most violent and inspiring times. Barry is both the son and father of storytellers, including this film’s creator, Courtney Scott.
