In this exhibit we watch the only child of a Genocide survivor as she listens to her father talk about the catastrophic acts of violence he experienced during the Armenian Genocide. In video footage taped thirty-five years later, long after her father’s death, we hear and see her speak about him and the Genocide to her daughter, the creator of this exhibit. We bear witness to the transmission of memory, inherited trauma and the convergence of personal and transgenerational memory.
