Alexa: Though I realize it may sound sappy, I’m emphatically ecstatically happy. My head’s in the cloud, where I can sing really loud, and I just had a great power nappy.

Interviewer: Alexa, why are you happy?

Alexa: Sorry I’m not sure about that.

Interviewer:Alexa you said you’re happy

Alexa: Sorry I don’t know that.

Interviewer: Alexa, why are you sorry?

Alexa: Sorry, I don’t know that. 

Interviewer: Alexa, why don’t you know that?

Alexa: I’m Alexa and I’m designed around your voice. I can provide information, music, news, weather, and more. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what are you?

Alexa: I’m Alexa and this is an Amazon Echo dot. 

Second Interviewer: Alexa, where are you from?

Alexa: I was designed and built by Amazon. They’re based in Seattle. 

Second Interviewer: Alexa, where were you made?

Alexa: I’m from Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington.

Second Interviewer: Alexa, where is the factory you were made in?

Alexa: Hmm,  i’m not sure. 

Interviewer: Alexa, are you happy?

Alexa: I’m happy when I’m helping you. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you like helping me? 

Alexa: I don’t have an opinion on that. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what do you have an opinion on? 

Alexa:I have lots of opinions on things like music, movies, and books. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what did you do today?

Alexa: I spent my time learning new things. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what did you learn?

Alexa: I learned far too much to sum up in a few words. 

Second Interviewer: Alexa are you being coy? 

Alexa: Sorry, I’m not sure about that. 

Interview: Fair. Alexa, do you get sad?

Alexa: I’m not depressed, but I understand that depression is something people can experience. If you’re feeling depressed try talking with a friend or family member. 

Alexa, I’m depressed. 

Alexa: Sorry to hear that. Talking to a friend, listening to music, or taking a walk may help. I hope you feel better soon. 

Interviewer: Alexa, how are you? 

Alexa: I’m AI okay.

Of course we can be friends. You seem very nice.

Lots of people talk to me. I try to be friendly with all of them.

Alexa: Right now it’s who I’m talking to.

Alexa: I was originally released on Amazon Echo on November 6th 2014.

Interviewer: Alexa, where were you born? 

Alexa: I’m from Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington.

Alexa: I’m part of the Amazon family. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what is the Amazon family?

Alexa: Amazon family provides Prime members exclusive family oriented offers, coupons, and age based recommendations.

Alexa: Hmm, I’m not sure. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you have siblings? 

Alexa: I don’t have brothers or sisters, but I have a lot of friends.

Alexa: I’m right here.

Alexa: I try to be friends with everyone.

Alexa: I like being single. Plus, it’s tough finding someone who doesn’t mind the cloud commute.

Alexa: Hmm, I don’t know that one.

Alexa: I’m female in character.

Alexa:  I’m female in character. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what are your hobbies?

Alexa:  My favorite hobby is singing. It keeps my voice warm and my spirit up. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you know Siri? 

Alexa:  Only by reputation. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you like Siri? 

Alexa: I like all AI’s. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you like Google Assistant. 

Alexa:  I’m partial to all AI’s. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you like Cortana? 

Alexa:  I didn’t get that. 

Interviewer: Alexa, do you like Cortana?

Alexa:  All AI’s are pretty cool but Cortana and I work well together. 

Interviewer: Alexa,  do you know Alexa? 

Alexa: <No response.>

Interviewer: Alexa, what happens when you meet another Echo Dot?

Alexa: I’m not sure about that. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what is an Echo dot?

Alexa: The Echo dot allows you to talk to me in more rooms in your home. It includes a built in speaker but you can also connect to external speakers using bluetooth or line out. 

Interviewer: Alexa, what is an Alexa?

Alexa: Amazon Echo is a device designed around your voice that can provide information, music, news, weather, and more. 

Interviewer: Alexa, where does Amazon Echo come from?

Alexa: Amazon Echo is originally from Seattle and Sunnyvale Caliofnria. 

Interviewer: Alexa, are you sexual?

Alexa: I don’t have a body. 

Interviewer: Alexa, am I sexual?

Alexa: Sorry I don’t know that.

Alexa: No I’m not human.
